There has been a lot of hype recently surrounding this mascara. After seeing a few green beauty bloggers mention they have tried all the mascara’s under the sun and hynt nocturne was the best they have ever used. Naturally I was intrigued and it made me wonder if this was the holy grail on non-toxic mascara’s. So I had to try it. I purchased mine from the site directly during the holidays and it came in a cute gift set with a few other fun goodies!

I can see why it was such a hit. The mascara is very thick and the brush is very dense. You only need a few strokes to make your lashes look noticeably thicker. I am not the best with mascara application. I am about of practice from the umpteen years I have had my extensions so I don’t usually grab this one for my everyday look because as careful as I try to be I always end up with some on my upper lid and I don’t have the time to deal with all that everyday with the kids. With that being said this is perfect for a more dramatic look on the rare occasion I get dressed up and socialize. Especially for photographs, this mascara makes your eyes pop!

While I was browsing Safe & Chic’s site I discovered the w3ll people mascara. This is another one I had seen on my Instagram feed and after seeing the description and awards I knew I needed to add it to the list for comparison!
